A Word from the Bishop’s Desk: Forty-Two Languages, and a Request for Prayer
To All the Churches of Christ
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be God the Father, who has opened this door; blessed be our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, in whose name all of this is done; and blessed be the Holy Spirit, who has guided this work from its first day. To the Holy Trinity be all the glory for every blessing upon this site and upon this ministry.
The Kingdom Scribe is still under construction, and new pages are being added nearly every day. Even so, by the grace of God, these writings can now be read in 42 languages. By the ministry’s own estimate, about 83 percent of the people of the world, some 6.8 billion souls, can now read them in a language they know. Only God knows how many will read, but the door now stands open to every nation of the earth.
I ask the people of God to pray for this ministry of the Word: that it be a blessing to all who read it; that it be faithful to Holy Scripture; and that it bear fruit to the glory of God. As the Apostle asked of the Church at Thessalonica, so I ask of you: “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you” (2 Thessalonians 3:1).
Lord willing, the first publication, the first of the numbered writings, will be published by the end of this month.
May Almighty God bless you all, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
