A Note on the Translations

The Most Reverend Garland F. Byers, Jr. does not claim fluency in the many languages in which the writings of The Kingdom Scribe are published, and he cannot accurately render the English text into each of them himself. He has no staff of translators, nor the means to employ a translator for every language on this website. The translations presented here have therefore been prepared with the aid of artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence is widely used for trivial purposes: fiction, films, passing amusements and memes that entertain for a moment but add no lasting value to human life. The Bishop has chosen to use it for the opposite purpose. He employs it to add value, by carrying the words of Holy Scripture and faithful discussion of the Christian faith to Christians in the diaspora and to believers among the nations in their own tongues. To his knowledge, no other individual bishop has undertaken such a work. He has felt a particular call to do so, that the words of God and of His Christ might be available to all nations.

The Bishop offers his sincere apology for any error in translation. Every such error is unintended. He treats the words of God and of our Lord Jesus Christ with the greatest respect, and he would not under any circumstances seek to harm, diminish or reduce in value the words of our Lord. This work is offered in reverence, and in holy fear of the power of Almighty God and of Jesus Christ, who declared, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18, KJV).
